Who will do the translation?
Who should I trust?

Who will I have the translation done? Who should I trust?

First of all, there are a few points that we recommend to pay attention to, although the final decision on this issue is up to the person.

The most important of these points is the feeling of trust that the person provides you. The person should be able to provide you with concrete examples to make you feel this trust. She/He can give examples of his/her previous translations or show them concretely. She/He should have a command of the subject and should take responsibility only where he/she can take responsibility.

There is a big difference between a cheap translation and an affordable translation. A mistake made can have irreversible consequences. Translation is not an underestimated profession as it is thought in our society. The translator should have a command of both cultures. He/she should be well aware of the cultural characteristics of both languages he/she is translating and will be translating. A wrong choice of words can invalidate the translation or worse, be misunderstood by the issuing institution.
